She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Dunlap Rutledge; father, Wendell Keith Gross; son, Dominque LaShawn Rutledge; and brother, Gary Rutledge.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her son, Charles (Lamonttesha) Rutledge; her daughters, Shanice Rutledge and Ollicia Holmes; her grandchildren,Chariya, Javaria, Charles Jr., Jibril, Charlesia, and Samiyah; foster mother, Doris Hicks; grandmother, Yvonne Christian; brothers and sisters, James Rutledge, Shelia (Ledarius) Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Robert Johnson, Tarra Dunlap, Denise Dunlap, Latorrey McCord, Tony Elliott, Evette Wray, and Vicki Leach; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Rutledge, Darvins, and Christians families.
Her "favorite person in the world" was John Rutledge. She also leaves behind a circle of devoted close friends and family who were like siblings to her: Jamandas Mayberry, Tameka Rutledge, Mario Christian, Markeith Calloway, Marquica Beasley, Sonya Benson, Octavius Rutledge, Janice Breedlove, David Starnes, George Baker Jr., and Lavonia Carothers.
Those who knew Priscilla know she loved everyone family, friends, and even strangers. She truly cherished every person she met. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her radiant spirit will never be forgotten.
