David, age 63, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024. He was a resident of Tickfaw, LA. David worked for many years in the Automotive industry and was the proud owner of Tallo Tire & Automotive in Hammond. He enjoyed being outdoors going hunting or fishing. David's true passion was travelling with his cousin going to run beagles. He was the life of the party and could make friends with just about anyone. David had the most infectious laugh and loved to crack jokes to get a smile out of you. He never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back for nothing in return. David loved his family deeply and was most happy surrounded by those he loved. He was a wonderful father, loving brother, and all-around great man who will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Tallo; sons, David Tallo Jr. (Melanie), Brian Tallo and fiancée, Destiny Davis; sisters, Becky Dufrene (Ron), Julie Tallo, Janet Piediscalzo (Chris), Mary Lavigne (Dennis); brothers, Richard Tallo, Steve "Bubby" Tallo Jr.; mother of his children, Lisa Vitrano; beloved dog, Mella; numerous nieces and nephews; life long best friend, Frank Milazzo; and hunting buddy and cousin, Ricky DePaula.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Camella and Steve Tallo Sr.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 12012 Hwy 190 W. Hammond, LA 70403 on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. Fr.
