David "Dave" Lee Taylor, age 74, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13th, at Bethany Village, surrounded by family and love.

Dave was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pauletta Sharon Taylor (Callahan); his parents, Glenn and Elizabeth Taylor; his in-laws, Bill and Pauline Callahan; his brother-in-law, Steve Callahan; and his great-grandchild, Bryleigh Taylor.

He is survived by his sons Brian (Rochelle) Taylor and Josh (Becki) Taylor; and his cherished grandchildren Matt (Jessica) Taylor, Micah Taylor, Jaxon Taylor, and London Taylor, and his beloved great-grandchildren Ayden Taylor and Zoey Taylor, who all brought him endless joy and pride.

Dave enjoyed his time and friendships while working for the City of Springboro, where he was well-known for his hard work, good humor, and for forever wearing the city's signature neon yellow shirts. He was also famous among family and friends for his special recipe beef jerky, which he made with care and was always eager to share.

A proud Pittsburgh Steelers fan through and through, Dave never missed a game and loved cheering on his team. He found peace and happiness in Hocking Hills, enjoyed the quiet of a good hunt, and had a special place in his heart for Labrador retrievers, his loyal companions over the years.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, October 21st, at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home located at 6850 Roosevelt Blvd in Middletown, Ohio, from noon until time of service at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin.

All who knew and loved Dave are invited to continue celebrating his life at a reception held at NCR Country Club located at 4435 Dogwood trail in Kettering from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. following services.

Dave will be remembered for his big heart, sense of humor, and the love he showed to everyone lucky enough to know him.
