David W. Teets Sr., 65, of Uniontown, passed away on Tuesday February 25, 2025 at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born July 21, 1959, the son of the late David L. and June (Moore) Teets.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his grandson Jeremiah Pletcher Jr.; brother Wendell Teets and Melvin (Sally) Teets; special relatives Albert Teets and Robert Brown; and loving girlfriend Donna Reed.
David is survived by his children David W. Teets Jr. of Uniontown, Eric Teets (Sis) of Waltersburg, Chris Teets of Uniontown, Tawnya Trainor (Allen) of Hopwood, Candis Trump (Gary) of Adah, Christopher Manchas (Ashley) of Dunbar, Julie Reed (Ron) of Layton, and Alison Valentine (Robert) of Uniontown; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers Brian Teets (Mary and Mike Teets (Kim) of Fairchance; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Nolan Maust and Ron Shaffer.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was a loving father and grandfather.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Amedysis Hospice for taking care of David.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD on Friday February 28 from 4pm-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday March 1 from 10am-11am the hour of the funeral service with Pastor Kenneth Jones officiating. Interment will be held in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home (PO BOX 28 Hopwood, PA).
