DAVID J THIEDE, AGE 87 OF NORTH ROYALTON, PASSED AWAY ON SUNDAY, MAY 25, 2025. Cherished husband of Elizabeth (nee Mangini) for 65 years; beloved father of Betsy Lanzer (Mike), Lynn Kelso (Jimmy), Becky Kossin (Ken), and the late Kathy; dear brother of the late Jean Shapiro (Herb); son of the late Henry and Mary Thiede; uncle of Theresa (Mike) Simek; grandfather of Jordan, Jarrod (fiance Christina) Kelso, Jessi Kossin (deceased), Jonathan (Tina), Ryan (Kate), Brad (Mary) and Erik (Katie) Lanzer; great grandfather of Ellie, Brayden, Gavin, Jaxon, Hunter, Alex, Josie, Austin, and Logan Lanzer.
Dave worked for over 35 years in the telephone industry. He enjoyed many years of traveling with good friends, puttering around his yard, reading John Grisham novels, and eating crab legs. But most importantly, spending time with his family is what Dave cherished most.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful hospice nurses at the Tom Perciak Hospice Facility.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Colette Catholic Church, 330 W. 130th St., Brunswick, on Wednesday, June 4 at 11 AM.
