David "Dave" Duane Toalson, 70, of Ochelata, left this earth on March 1, 2025, in Collinsville, Oklahoma.
Dave was born August 9, 1954, in
Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to David Lee and Bertha Jean (Bogle) Toalson. He graduated from Caney Valley High School in Ramona in 1972. David played American Legion Baseball for Collinsville from 1971-1973. He worked at TRW Reda Pump from 1974 to 1994.
Dave married Sue Cranor on October 26, 1974, and the couple had two daughters, Melissa Ann and Amber Michele.
Dave loved fishing and entered many tournaments. He was also an avid hunter. He was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed making furniture and items for friends and family. He enjoyed watching old war movies, working crossword puzzles and appreciated a good cup of black coffee.
Dave was loved and cared for by the staff at North County Nursing Home in Collinsville for the past 6 years, where the staff there became part of his family.
Dave is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Stith of Troup, Texas, and Amber and Ricky Woods of Piedmont, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Lorelei and Wyatt Stith, Preslee, Payton and Jaggar Woods of Piedmont, Oklahoma; one brother, Stephen B. Toalson and wife Lisa of Ochelata, Oklahoma; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; aunts, Linda Wiles of Ochelata, and Bonnie Toalson of Bartlesville; also, Sue Toalson of Bartlesville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Bertha Toalson; and sister, Terri Jean Toalson.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 4201 Nowata Rd.,
Bartlesville, OK 74006, 918-333-7665. Chaplain Tom Schwartz of North County Nursing and Rehab will be officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Ochelata Cemetery.
