David Trespacz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home on Feb. 10, 2026.
David A. Trespacz, 75, of Vernon, beloved husband of 23 years to Brenda "Benny" Coughlin, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born on March 9, 1950, in West Warren, MA, son to the late Anthony and Stella (Korzec) Trespacz.

David grew up in West Warren, MA, and was a graduate of Munson Academy, Class of 1968. He continued his education earning his bachelor's degree from Clark University, and his master's degree from Rensselaer University. Dave enjoyed music and concerts, he amassed a grand collection of vinyl records and CDs. A lifelong Red Sox fan, he attended many MLB games at Fenway and the old Yankee Stadium. Dave also loved to travel, the more exotic destination the better. He loved all sorts of antiques including cars, vintage photographs, and signed baseballs.

Dave's family would like to thank the excellent care he received from Hartford Healthcare Independence at Home, most notably – Harriet, Aileen, and Joseph. We would also like to thank the Visiting Nurse & Health Services of CT for their wonderful support in helping Dave navigate through the effects of a devastating neurological disorder with grace and dignity.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Yuen and her husband Christopher of Milford; his grandson, Miles Yuen also of Milford; his sister Joanne Bonder and her husband Daniel of Orange, OH; as well as his nephews and their families.

Funeral services for David will be held privately. Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, in Vernon, are in care of his arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Fragile X Foundation, 1012 14th St. NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20005 or by visiting www.fragilex.com.
