David Tucker Obituary

He was born March 22, 1963, in Escanaba, Mich., son of the late Fred and Marilyn (Olsen) Tucker. David grew up in Escanaba and was a graduate of Escanaba High School, class of 1981. After graduating high school, he received his Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich., on August 20, 1993.
David worked as a Physician Assistant at Marshfield Medical Center, formerly Dickinson Hospital.
Survivors include his sons, Joshua and Jacob Tucker; sister, Jeanne Anderson; and the mother of his children, Elizabeth Tucker.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one sister, Julie Stevenson.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Brent Griffin will officiate. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Escanaba, in the spring.

I shall miss David. We spoke every Sunday, exchanging prayer requests and encouraging verses. I had not heard of his death until today and I am grieving, despite the sure knowledge that he is now exulting in robust health in that land that is fairer than day. I pray for his beloved sons and for Elizabeth.
