David D Tucker

David Tucker, 59, of Jefferson City, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
David was born the son of the late Eugene and Linda Tucker August 2, 1966. He graduated from Tyrone High School in Tyrone, Oklahoma, in 1984. He continued his education at Culver-Stockton College, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science and later earned a Master's Degree in Education from Lincoln University in 1999.
David proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army. Following his military service, he dedicated his professional life to helping others, working as a Licensed Professional Counselor from 2000 until 2021.
An avid Oklahoma Sooners football fan, David rarely missed a game. He also had a deep love for The Lord of the Rings and could happily recite movie quotes for hours. He treasured family trips to the beach, spending time with loved ones, and expressing himself through writing poetry.
David is survived by his son, Garrett Tucker; daughter, Maddy Tucker; brothers, Jason Hoeme (Darla) and Matt Hoeme; and grandchildren, Maximillian, Beckham, and Aria Tucker.
He will be remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor, his compassion for others, and the meaningful connections he built throughout his life.
