David Wayne Turner, age 72, of Amity, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.
He was born on November 20, 1953, in Nashville. He was the son of Willie D. Turner and Alice Blanche Turner. He was preceded in death by parents and his brother, Phillip G. Turner.
He was a member of Caney Valley Missionary Baptist Church. David earned an associates degree at San Jacinto Junior College and also attended the University of Houston. For many years he was a plumbing parts supply salesman. David enjoyed baseball, softball, and playing his guitar. David was a loving brother, uncle, and friend and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
David is survived by his two brothers and sister-in-law, Stephen and Karma Turner of Hot Springs and Nathan Turner of Amity; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Ebenezer Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Turner, Nathan Turner, Glen Turner, Dylan Turner, Karma Turner, and Sarah Fallin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be John Turner, Joseph Turner, Philip Clamon, and Joe Turner.
