David P. VanOverbeke, age 57, of Chesterfield, passed away unexpectedly, on November 20, 2022. He was born on January 14, 1965, in Detroit, to the late Charles and Patricia VanOverbeke.
David married Renee M. Graf, on October 25, 1986, in New Baltimore.
He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He had the most amazing sense of humor, even at the most inappropriate time.
David is survived by his wife, Renee, children; Mariel (Justin) Shaner, David VanOverbeke, Zachary (Samantha) VanOverbeke and Chris (Paige) VanOverbeke, grandchildren; Layla, Rhett, Theo, brothers; Mike (Gail) VanOverbeke, Patrick (Karen) VanOverbeke, Dan (Kathy) VanOverbeke, Andy (Judy) VanOverbeke, brothers-in-law; Hank Moultry and Craig (Sandi) Graf, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Gail Moultry.
A visitation will be on Friday, November 25, 2022, held at Jowett Funeral Home – 57737 Gratiot, New Haven. Visiting hours will be from 2:00pm to 6:00pm
A Celebration of Life luncheon will be at 6:00pm, in the VFW Hall – 35011 23 Mile Rd, Chesterfield.
