David P. Wands, 60, passed away July 13, 2025. Born in Albany, New York on October 19, 1964, he was the son of the late Stanley C. and Katherine C. Wands.
David was the owner and operator of York Associates he was a dedicated contractor who built a respected business from the ground up. Later in his career, he started doing more window and screen repair and replacement, serving his customers with precision and a friendly smile. His commitment to quality and craftsmanship will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He was a member of the VFW post 7045. He was also the association President of the Penn Oaks Swim Club.
David leaves to cherish his memory, siblings, Darryl Wands (Carole), Sandra Gudz (Andrew) and Kimberly Hetzler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on July 22, 2025 at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market Street York, PA 17403. The visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. The service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, ASPCA or to Penn Oaks Swim Club.
