South Bound Brook, NJ-David Loy Wariner, Sr. of South Bound Brook passed away peacefully at home with loving family by his side on October 31st, 2024. He was 82 years old.
David was the beloved husband of Diane K. (Hosgood) Wariner for 29 years; loving father of David L. Wariner Jr. (Charise), Ginamarie E. Marino (Peter); stepfather of Carey Anne Sutter (Billy), and Brian Rowe; devoted grandfather of Angelena Lagana, Peter Marino 3rd, David L. Wariner 3rd, Dylan Wariner, Nicholas Marino, and Ciara Wariner; son of the late Ernest L. Wariner and the late Thelma (Williams) Wariner from Texas; and brother of the late "Jimmy" (James) Wariner. He also survived by his, sister-in-law Carol Painter (David); Aunt Mary and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
David grew up in Gainesville, Texas to later on join the Air Force from 1961-1965 and eventually settled in New Jersey to Roebling and Hamilton prior to South Bound Brook in 1993. He worked as a millwright for Johnson & Johnson in Bridgewater, NJ for over 40 years and retired. David loved country music, camping, fishing, crabbing, gardening, and his cats.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Monday, November 4th, from 1-5 p.m. with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. officiated by Fr. Piotr Grzeskiewicz, C.Ss.R. Additional viewing time will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 5th, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Military honors and committal words will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
