David E. Wells, age, 75, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Baptist Health Louisville.
He was a member of Wesley Meadows United Methodist Church, retired concrete worker, captain of the church dart ball league, loved to garden and be outdoors.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Maxey and Annie Pearl Nunn Wells; five sisters, Elizabeth Wells, Janice Fancher, Frances Turner, Wilma Rucker and Carol Griswold; four brothers, Glendon, Donnie, Kenny and Herb Wells.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Wells; two daughters, Jessica Wells of New Haven and Kasey (Toni) Foster of Crab Orchard, Tennessee; a step-son, Josh Claywell of Hodgenville; three grandchildren, Jaden, Levi and Hudson; two sisters, Rita (Bill) Heath of Upton and Sharon Wells of Munfordville and a brother Doug Wells of Elizabethtown; a sister-in-law, Shannon (Kent) Ballough of Radcliff and a brother-in-law, Nathan Skaggs of Brownsville, Kentucky as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 6, at Wesley Meadows United Methodist Church in Hodgenville with Bro. Wallace Votaw officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville is in charge of the arrangements.
