David Frank White III, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on July 7, 1967, he filled the lives of everyone around him with joy and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
David had a remarkable personality that shone brightly. He loved his family deeply and took great pride in being a wonderful uncle to his nephew, Cameron Sutton. His warmth and kindness were apparent to everyone he met; he truly never met a stranger. With a great heart, he built lasting connections wherever he went, and his spirit was infectious. People were drawn to him not only for his genuine friendliness but also for his ability to make others smile and laugh.
His love for sports was evident, especially when it came to football and basketball. David was a devoted fan of the Tar Heels, Carolina Panthers, and Dallas Cowboys. He could often be found cheering passionately for his teams, a true embodiment of the spirit of sportsmanship.
David had a special love for the great outdoors. Fishing and spending time at the beach brought him immense joy. He embraced life with a vigor that came through in his love for dancing—a testament to his lively spirit and zest for life.
David's circle of friends was vast, each one cherishing their unique bond with him. His humor and affection will continue to resonate in the hearts of countless individuals who were touched by his kindness and laughter.
He leaves behind his father, David Frank White Jr., his sister, Alisa White, and his brother, Marty White, his nephew, Cameron Sutton, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and friends who will carry forward his legacy of love and joy. His mother, Terry White, precedes him in death, and though he is now reunited with her, his memory will forever remain alive in the hearts of his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on January 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. A graveside service will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park at 3:00 PM. In this time of sorrow, may we all remember David Frank White III not only for his kindness and vivacity but also for the love he shared so freely with those around him.
