David was born August 23, 1963 in Elizabethtown, to the late Martin L. and Rosie Lee Bush Wilkerson.
David was a Bar Manager for Smith Corner.
David was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Teresa Thompson.
David is survived by two brothers, Phillip (Tawnya) Wilkerson, and John Campbell, two sisters, Vicki Graham, and Lisa Leasor, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In keeping with his wishes cremation was chosen.
A Celebration of life / Memorial Service will be held Sunday April 13, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church.

Prayers to all the family. I often wondered how David was or where he ever ended up at. I hope you had joy in your life, David. I hope you are reunited with those that you loved. Maybe you will even see Emmett. I hope that God saw it fit for him to be there too.
