David Douglas Williams, 82, of Medina, passed away on July 30, 2025 in Medina,Ohio. David was born on September 3, 1942 in St. Albans, West Virginia to Jack and Billie Faye (Lyke) Williams. David worked for Ford Motor Company for over 37 years until his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time in West Virginia. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Medina Ward. David is survived by his wife, Diana (Bostic) Williams; daughters Crystal (P.J.) King and Cynthia (Monti) Zimmerman; precious grandchildren Bradley (Darcy) King, Madeline and Katherine King, and Gabriel, Elijah, and Lily Zimmerman as well as two great grandchildren, Clementine and Charlie King. He is also survived by his sister, Ealon Marlene McClung and sister-in-law Vicky Williams as well as two nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jack Duane Williams, and brother-in-law Larry Joe McClung. Visiting hours will be held at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court Street, Medina, Ohio on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Cremation will take place and the family will scatter his ashes in West Virginia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Contributions, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110 in memory of David D. Williams. What a kind and gentle soul David was. Diana, Crystal, and the rest of his precious family- my deepest condolences for your loss. You meant the world to David. You were his source of joy and pride.
