MAYSVILLE — The family of David Muse Wise is saddened to announce his passing on June 1st, at the age of 74 at Ohio Valley Nursing Home in Ripley, Ohio.
Davey was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Nell Wise. In the latter years of his mother's life she developed Alzheimer's and he was totally devoted to her care.
Davey was survived by his sister, Laurie Roberts and brother Jesophowich Wise, niece Carrie Downs and nephews Davey Downs, Noah Ginn and Josh Ginn as well as great nieces Myla Downs-Perry, Adrienne Downs-Perry and great nephews A.P. Perry, Ty Downs and Malachi Ginn and many cousins and friends some of who thought of him as a brother.
Davey worked many years at Inland Container. In his youth he worked extremely hard with a major newspaper route and as an employee of Clyde's Super Value to assist the family during his father's illness and early death. Davey enjoyed many sports and was a proud member of the Maysville Bulldogs Football Team, as well as an avid bridge player.
There will be no services held at this time.
