David Charles "Dave" Worley Jr.

David Charles Worley, Jr. passed away on Friday, February 27 after a long illness. He

was born August 28, 1962 in Evansville, IN. He grew up in such exotic places as Japan

and Hawaii as the child of a US Navy Veteran. After graduating high school in 1980, he

joined the Navy and served for four years as an avionic technician aboard the USS

America aircraft carrier. After returning to Evansville, he earned a degree in Computer

Science from Lockyear College. After a few years working IT jobs, he spent 10 years in

the trucking industry. We enjoyed many of his hilarious "stories from the road". He was

also an ordained minister for the Universal Life Church and performed wedding

ceremonies for family and friends. He loved his pets, gadgets, photography, astronomy

and science fiction. He was sweet, funny guy and his hugs and humor will be greatly

missed.

Surviving is his beloved wife Terry Worley, mother Elizabeth Walker, father David

Worley, Sr., sister Jeannie Worley, sister Susan Cassidy, brother Steven Worley, step-

sister Kathy Miskimen, step children Cheryl McDaniel, Jason Royalty, Mark Peterson

and Nancy Royalty, step grandchildren Niece McDaniel and Charlie McDaniel and

several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Dave's life will be planned for a later date.
