David Lee Wright, 84, of Louisville, passed away April 21, 2023. He was a retired Army veteran and was also retired from the Civil Service.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Wright; son, Daniel Wright; and his brothers, Hansford Wright and Kenneth Wright. He is survived by his children, Debra Hunter, David Lee Wright II(Angela), and Dean Wright; grandchildren, Daniel Hunter(Meghan) and David Lee Wright III; great-grandchildren, Madison Wright, Joseph Hickey, and Daryl Hunter; and his brother, Larry Wright(Linda).
Funeral service will be 2pm Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Evergreen Funeral Home with military honors to follow. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am-2pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in David's memory can be made to American Heart Association.

Mr. Wright was such a great man and wonderful father figure to so many others. He genuinely cared about his sons friends. I always will remember the cookouts and the horseshoe games and just the overall laughter that Mr.Wright share with so many others. What a great man he was, and I look forward to seeing him in heaven. Ronnie .
