Iman Freeman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by A. D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home - Downtown on Jan. 14, 2026.
In the quietness of the morning of January 9, 2026, Iman TaNeal Freeman was called to his eternal rest. He was born on November 17, 1988, in Louisville, Ky to Jackie and Sophia Freeman.

Iman grew up in Louisville, Ky where he graduated from Fern Creek High School and excelled in football for all four years. He then continued his education at Jefferson Technical Community College. His contagious smile and unique personality allowed him to become the top achieving salesman at Spectrum and success within the real estate investment industries. Iman was a CHILD OF GOD and accepted Christ at the age of 12 at First Baptist Church of Jeffersontown (Late Rev. Thurmond Coleman, Sr). He was known for being a dedicated father, mild mannered, kind heart, uplifting others, being a jokester and love for his family and friends.

Here to carry on his memory, are his parents: Jackie and Sophia Freeman; one brother: Jakale Freeman; two sisters: Aureia Freeman Bishop and GaTonya Freeman; partner: Marissa Vaughn; children: TaNeal Freeman II, Autumn, Sophia and Graclyn Cundiff; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Iman will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
