it is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Davis Collin Gray, born December 17, 2003, who left this world far too early on the afternoon of August 26, 2025. Davis was a beloved son, brother, and friend who filled the lives of those around him with kindness, laughter, and love. Above all, he cherished his family and sought to make them proud, which he did every day through his kind spirit and his big heart.

Davis loved baseball, his faithful dog Blue, and the simple joys of life shared with those he loved. He was a young man of faith, who believed in Jesus, and whose compassion for others reflected that belief.

For some, this world can feel too heavy to carry, and for Davis it was so. We find comfort in knowing he is now at peace in heaven, reunited with his infant nephews Wells and Shepard, watching over them until we can all be together again.

His family is deeply proud of the person Davis was and will forever treasure the gift of his 21 years.

Davis is survived by his loving parents, Thomas Louis Gray and Donna Wallace Gray; his sister, Emily Wallace Gray (Hunter Warren McLendon); his brother, Dylan Thomas Gray; and his grandfather, Jewell Ladon Wallace. He was a proud uncle to Vivienne Kate McLendon. Davis will also be deeply missed by many extended family members and dear friends who held him close to their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Basil Gray and Mattie Lee Gray, and Dutha Rayborn Wallace, as well as his infant nephews, Wells Warren McLendon and Shepard Thomas McLendon.

Arrangements for Davis are below. We invite all family and friends to join us in honoring and remembering him.
