Davis Harrington Obituary
Kaplan, Louisiana- A Funeral Service officiated by Deacon Timothy Marcantel will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Davis " Big D" Harrington, 59, who passed away on July 25, 2025.
Davis was known for his dedication and love to his family, his love of raising animals, and caring for his garden, nurturing plants, and enjoying the beauty of flowers. He considered everyone a friend and never met a stranger. Davis owned and operated Big D & Little F's Tire Shop in Kaplan for several years.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 Pm on Monday. Visitation will continue Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Mire Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Harrington of 40 Years; his two children, Michael Harrington, his wife Tiffany and Francesca Harrington; two granddaughters, Mia Clark, her husband Dylan and Aliyah Harrington; his grand dog, Bubbabear; his two brothers, Raymond and his wife, Stephanie and Rufus Harrington; and two sisters, Carol Hebert and Darlene LeMaire.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Diana Harrington.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Harrington, Rufus Harrington, Wallace Harrington, Davis Faulk, Boo Mire, and Jerry Hebert.
Honorary pallbearer will be Cooper Bellon.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan (337) 643-7276.
