Dawn Baechle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home on Nov. 8, 2024.
Dawn M. Baechle, 83 of Jefferson, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at her home.
Dawn was born on January 10, 1941, in Concord, WI, the daughter of Hilbert and Mabel (Spence) Polinski. She graduated from Johnson Creek High School and married Donald Baechle on August 1, 1959, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Johnson Creek. The couple had 3 children, later divorced, but remained very close. The family always celebrated birthdays and holidays as a family unit, even though Dawn and Donald were no longer married. Dawn was a homemaker the entire life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed attending events at the Jefferson Senior Center and playing bingo. Dawn loved to have a good time and is remembered for her cheerful and feisty spirit. She took great pride in having a hand in raising all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dawn was a special lady who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by: her children Lori Baechle of Jefferson, Lisa (Dawood) Bhatti of Madison and Todd (Tamera) Baechle of Jefferson; 4 grandchildren Consuelo (Jeremy), Richard (Sarah), Patricia (William Morrison), and Perfecto; 7 great-grandchildren Mabel (Samuel), MaKaylynn, Devis, Josalyn, Colton, Cameron, and Jase. Dawn is also survived by a number of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Donna (James) Peterson.
The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the entire staff of Fort Hospital and Rainbow Hospice Care for the wonderful care provided to not only Dawn, but her family as well.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30PM on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home with Rainbow Hospice Chaplain Steve Steele presiding. A visitation will be on Friday from 11:00AM until the time of service at church. She will be laid to rest at Concord Methodist Cemetery in the Town of Concord at 2:00PM on Friday.
