It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dawn Renee Kresta, a vibrant beacon of love and compassion who left this world on August 19, 2024. Dawn was born on November 5, 1962, in St. Charles, IL, and she brought a radiant light into the lives of everyone she met from her birthplace to her longtime residence in Littleton, Colorado. She was an unyielding pillar of strength, loyalty, and dedication who embraced life and the people around her with an open heart and an open mind.
Dawn's professional life was marked by her dedication to providing exceptional customer support in the online retail sector, yet it was her personal life that truly defined her. She was a loving and devoted wife to Michael Kresta, and a fiercely dedicated mother to her sons, Zachary and Alexander Kresta. Her unwavering loyalty was not only limited to her immediate family; Dawn also maintained deep bonds with her mother, Ruth Blum, and her sisters, Kristen Knutson and Nicole Kresta. Her father, Ralph Blum, preceded her in death. As the poet Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the essence of Dawn, who left an indelible imprint on the hearts of many.
In celebrating her life, we remember Dawn as a woman of unyielding compassion and love. Her greatest joy was her family and friends, and she nurtured these relationships with all the love and care in her vast heart. Dawn's spirit, imbued with warmth and affection, was a comforting presence in the lives of those she cherished.
