Dawn Marie Manuel

Funeral services for Mrs. Dawn Marie Manuel will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Pine Prairie Church of Christ, with Brothers Charles Seal and Danny Hebert officiating. Interment will follow in Pecan Grove Cemetery, Cypress Creek Community, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Manuel, 57, of Upper Pine Prairie, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was known for the cakes she made and her love for Hobby Lobby. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Young; and one son, Jacob Shane Manuel.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of twenty two years, Jeremy "Jake" Manuel of Upper Pine Prairie; two sons, Nicolas Charles Young, and fiancé Jessie, of Oakdale, and Elijah Jake Manuel of Upper Pine Prairie; one daughter, Kayla Clark, and her husband Jacob, of Deville; her mother, Clarice Young of Pine Prairie; two sisters, Rebecca Monden, and husband Bart, of Omaha, Nebraska, and Grace Allen, and husband Sam, of Pineville; and ten grandchildren, Abigail, Madison, Gracie, Kinnie, Jemma, Brayden, Quade, Ainsley, Bradley, and Paisley.
A time of visitation will be held at Pine Prairie Church of Christ, on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Nicolas Young, Elijah Manuel, Clarice Young, Dakota Chapman, Christian Perkins, Mike Callahan, and Bart Monden. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Grimm and Becky Monden.
