Dawn M. O'Connor

Dawn M O'Connor, age 62, of Fremont, passed away following a short illness, on Monday, March 30, 2026, at her home. She was born on June 7, 1963 in Greenville, WI, the daughter of the late Eugene "Zeke" and Carol (Schroeder) Tyler. In 2006 Dawn married Randy O'Connor they were together for 29 and married for 17 years before Randy preceded her in death on November 25, 2023. Together hey had a daughter, Emily, who preceded her parents in death on July 14, 2018.

Dawn was a familiar face around Fremont, as she spent many years working behind the counter at the Mobil Gas Station. After Mobil was torn down, Dawn worked as a clerk at the Citgo Travel Plaza in Fremont where she met many people and enjoyed joking around with her coworkers and customers. She will be greatly missed. Dawn also enjoyed spending her free time at the local establishments catching up on things going on around town.

Dawn is survived by her mother-in-law, Gayle(Mort)Dillingham; step mother-in-law, Evelyn O'Connor; two brothers-in-law, Chris (Johanna Hoboush) O'Connor and Peter O'Connor and a sister-in-law, Lisa(Tom)Lowery; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene "Zeke" and Carol Tyler; her husband, Randy; her daughter, Emily; and her father-in-law, Robert O'Connor.

There will be a Celebration of Life to honor and remember Dawn at a date later this year.
