I spent several years with Dawn working together in the EP lab. We were a very close team, really more of a family in that room and nothing will ever top the endless laughing and storytelling we shared day after day. She always loved keeping us up to date on what her daughter was doing and how college was going. She lit up when she spoke of Sarah, it was obvious she was so proud of her and you could tell they shared such a special bond. I can still hear her giggles when the boys would tell their jokes or tease her (because well, they´re boys and she was the room Mom). I remember her sweet hugs when I was having a bad day and her words of encouragement as I was figuring out my path in life. She still checked on me every so often throughout the years and we would spend a bit catching up. I´m thankful she found her sweet husband and she was loving her peaceful life in TN.
Beyond the beautiful person Dawn was inside and out, she was an exceptional caregiver. She always showed such grace and compassion to her patients and they loved her for it. I will always remember her that way. Sending all of my love and support to her family during this difficult time. Dawn was truly an angel on earth and will be missed by all.
