Deacon William King Obituary
Deacon William Edward King, age 89, of Richmond, departed this life on August 5, 2025. He was a Retired Director of the Equal Employment Opportunity Department, at Whitehall Robins Pharmaceutical Company. Mr. King was also an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Wilhelmenia King; two daughters, Konnetta King and Veranetta Roscoe (James); one sister, Ella Mae Chadwick; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where he can be viewed on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 10:00am to 8:00pm. There will be an Omega Service (Alpha Phi Alpha Memorial Service) at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 10:00am, followed by funeral services at 11:00am. Dr. Earl Brown and Dr. Ricardo Brown (Pastors). Entombment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
