Dean passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025 at the Wisner Care Center.
Leonard Dean Adams was born on January 29, 1939 in Cuming Co., NE to John Leonard and Ricky (Zipf) Adams. He attended Cuming County Rural School District #34 and graduated from Wisner High School in 1956.
Dean enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard on December 19, 1960, served his active duty while at basic training at Fort Ord, California, and was discharged from the National Guard on December 18, 1966.
Dean farmed near Wisner most of his life. He enjoyed playing cards and gathering information from his time spent at "The Bank" and Wisner West.
Survivors include-
Niece-Linda and Larry Hansen of Wisner, NE and family-
Tiffany Myer and children-Zoe and Ryan
Jeff and Taylor Hansen and son-Gabriel
Dean was preceded in death by his parents-Leonard and Ricky Adams, sister-Marcella and George Koester, and nephew-Doug Koester.
