G. Dean Corp, 85, of Creston passed away on Tuesday, September. 9, 2025 at his home after a brief illness.

Dean was born on April 30, 1940 in Lodi to Harold and Marian (Huffman) Corp and was a 1958 graduate of Norwayne High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 – 1965 and was always proud of his service. On Aug. 30, 1965 he married Carol Ann Green and they recently celebrated their 60th anniversary. Dean retire from the City of Wadsworth in 2003 after 25 years of service. He enjoyed trips to the beach, watching the Cleveland Indians and Westerns and getting his daily coffee and breakfast at Circle K. He had played softball, golfed and bowled but his greatest pastime was time spent with his brothers.

Surviving is his wife, Carol; his son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Angel Corp; grandson, Danny Corp; brothers, Clayton Corp, Wayne and Linda Corp and Greg (Barb) Corp of Creston; sisters-in-law, Linda Corp, Marilyn Corp, Sue McCune and Joyce (Dennis) McGuire and nieces and nephews.

Dean was preceded in death by his grandson, Logan Corp; great-grandson, Elijah; his parents, Harold and Marian; brothers, Ray Corp and Lee Corp, sisters-in-law, Janice Corp and Anita Bauman and brothers-in-law, Mike Green and Chris Green.

Family services will be held at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice LifeCare.
