Don S. Kauf, 84, of Wooster, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, at Medina Hospital after a period of declining health.

Don as born in Bellville on June 8, 1941, to William Raymond and Dorcus (Livingston) Kauf and was a 1960 graduate of Norwayne High School. On Oct. 13, 1979, he married Barbara Workman and Barb preceded him in death on Dec. 17, 2021. Don retired for the PCA in Rittman in 2001 after 40 years of service. He enjoyed going to the monthly lunch gathers with his class of 1960, watching old Westerns and sport on TV and boating.

Surviving are his children, Dale Kauf of Apple Creek, Tina (Jeff) Kauf of Apple Creek and Barbara (Jeff) Greaser of Wooster; step-daughter, Jeanette Vance of Wooster; 8 grandchildren, Ashley Frame who Don and Barb raised and who lovely cared for them; Haley, Meghan, Dylan, Jennifer, Justin, Savannah and Olivia; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, LuAnn (Rusty) Locke of Lodi and nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Barb; a step-son, Chuck Allison; his parents and brothers, Russell, Everett, John and Bill.

Services will be Tuesday, Sept. 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following at Burbank Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services at 2:00 p.m.
