Dean was/is a dear friend and teammate. We played together on the championship team at The University of Cincinnati which was recently inducted in The Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame. Dean was a furious competitor, bright and an exceptional person. I miss him. Thanks Mrs. Lampros and sons for sharing your husband / father with us during the past years.
God bless.

Dean is a legendary basketball player from Eastmore High School in Columbus, Ohio. He is a friend and teammate of mine at the University of Cincinnati. Recently, The Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame announced that our former team at UC, 1965-1966, will be inducted into its hall of fame. Dean was a valuable player on that team. Through the years, he and I remained close friends. It saddens me that I will not hear his funny jokes and quips of humor.
God bless his wonderful wife and sons. Steadfast, Dean would want you to stay strong as it was a quality of his success in business and in life.

Dean was a very close friend of my brother´s and likewise my family´s, the Lazares family. Dean would come to our home and wait for John to go somewhere or just have dinner with us, that is my mom dad and me. It was a good time of life, of course a long time ago but Dean lit up our household and made my parents laugh as they both had serious conditions. I thank you my dear friend for that, and now you are in peace and no pain. May your memory be eternal.

I met Dean in 1983 shortly after Gregory and I met and fell in love. He lived in NY and I lived in Cleveland. Dean was in Cleveland on business and he took me out to a very elegant dinner which was actually my "interview" because Gregory wanted Dean´s approval. I knew full well what was going on but quickly forgot I was being evaluated because Dean was charming as ever and made me feel so comfortable. We bonded that evening and I always had a special place in my heart for him. May God rest your soul Koumbaro. I love you.

Dean and I met in junior high school in 1957 in Newark, Ohio. When we reconnected several years ago, he was the same selfless person despite an amazingly successful life as athlete and astute businessman. I will miss reminiscing with him. RIP dear friend. David DeLong, Newark, Ohio
