Dean E. Liggitt

Dean E. Liggitt age 72 a Bond Street Brockway, PA resident died on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at his residence. Born on January 29, 1953 in Cannonsburg, Ohio; he was the son of the late George and Ruth Wolfe Liggitt. On February 14, 1991 he was married to Janet Chatfield and she survives. Retired, Dean had been employed in the House Keeping Department at Penn Highlands DuBois. He also enjoyed landscaping and had been employed at Alvetro Landscaping in Falls Creek and at Bassetti Landscaping in Brockway. He enjoyed fishing and toy trains. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by daughters Jeannie Showalter, Dannell Lewis, Sondra and Deanna; sisters Linda Gardner, Ruthie Bell and Pearl; brothers George, Jimmy and John Rudy Liggitt; step-daughters Dawn Major and Denise Logan; step-sons Daniel and David Gardner. Dean is also survived by many many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by an infant sister Lois Jean Liggitt and a grandson DJ Gardner. All services for Dean will be private at the convenience of his family. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice, or simply plant a tree in Deans memory.
