Dean F. Mart
Age 67, of Brookville, Ohio, fought a five year battle with Dementia & Parkinson's Disease. His battle came to an end on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023.
He was born in Troy, Ohio, to the late Donald and Carol (Schroyer) Mart on October 29th, 1955.
Along with his parents, Dean is preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Mart.
Dean is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sue Mart; siblings, Rodger (Renee) Mart, Jeffrey Standifer; his children, Nate Mart, Nick (Caroline) Mart, Sarah (Andrew) Mart; grandchildren, Trista, Tyler, Nathan, Aidyn, Peyton, Aziah, Erica, Wilder; special friends, Willie and Pat Barnett; several other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
He was a noble Veteran of The United States Army and proud Truck Driver for over 40 years.
In his free time, you could find Dean at a concert, as he was an avid lover of live music. He enjoyed traveling, especially to the Great State of Florida to relax on the beach. Dean also liked to fish and spend time with his church family.
Above all, nothing brought warmth to Dean's Heart like spending time with his beloved wife, Sue. He took pride in being her husband and father of their children, Nate, Nick, & Sarah. He was a dedicated provider that loved being there for his family.
The family is grateful for the comfort provided by Day City Hospice and special caregivers, Tracy and Jessica.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 30th, 2023, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Golden Gate Park in Brookville, Ohio, Shelter #3. By request of the family, please bring a labeled covered dish. www.rlcfc.com
