Dean Pruitt Obituary
Dean had a successful plumbing career and loved teaching, training and helping others. Dean was very friendly and enjoyed joking around with others. He had a contagious smile and laugh. He could discuss sports at great lengths and was a very dedicated fan of the Raiders, Lakers and University of Utah. Many of his friendships were forged through his love of playing and watching sports. He was a very loyal friend and would do anything for the people he loved. Above all, Dean had immense love for his family, children, and grandchildren. His grandson, Julius, asked if he could take his iPad with him to heaven so they could FaceTime there. Dean was able to spend his last years with his sweetheart, Shelly Kimbell. His family is extremely grateful to her for her love and support.
Dean is preceded in death by his mothers: Jenny Lee and Holly Jo Reynolds and his brother Tyler Williams. He is survived by his children: Trey (Adriana) Pruitt, Tawnice (Jonathan) Henderson, and Trevyn Pruitt. His grandchildren: McKenzie, Jayda, Julius and Jamel. And also his siblings: Stacie Forbes Monique Williams, Mandy Daley, Deanetta Ali, Mike Pruitt, and Randi Chandler.
Thank you to Dr. Jonathan Whisenant, hospice, and all the medical staff.
A memorial will be held on March 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Cultivate Community Church 11477 S. Redwood Rd. South Jordan, UT. 84095.

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you during your time of grief. Dean, an old friend from high school, may have passed, but his legacy and impact will live on in your hearts and memories forever.
I will always remember Dean as the person who was always there for me and had a kind word for everyone. In the time we spent together, I saw firsthand his amazing spirit and determination to make the world a better place. His commitment to others and willingness to put others first will always stay with me as an example to strive for.
Please accept my condolences during this difficult time and know that I am keeping you, Dean, and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
