Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home & Crematory - Cuyahoga FallsDean “Chef Dino” Lawrence Reed Jr, (66), passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of July 30th with his family by his side.
Dino was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He took immense pride in his cooking, and had a deep passion for creating dishes that would bring people together around the table to laugh and enjoy. Dino never met a stranger, and could walk into a room and make everyone feel that much more at home. If you were fortunate enough to meet Dino, you know the lasting impact he had on everyone he encountered.
When away from the kitchen, Dino loved to vacation with his adoring wife, Judie. They enjoyed trips to the beach, and lounging poolside in Las Vegas. No matter how far from home, Dino would make new friends wherever he went.
He was preceded in death by his mother Antonette Reed, his father Dean L Reed Sr, and mother-in-law Mary Martter.
He is survived by his loving wife, and best friend of 38 years, Judie, his children he adored Lauren (Paul Cullion) and Nico, his sidekicks Dingus and Kitty, his sisters Debbi (Chris) Kallai and Lisa (Chris) Gold, his bonus siblings Marty (Julie) Martter, Jodie (Dan) LeMasters, and Alan Martter, and his many Nieces and Nephews.
A very special thanks to Nancy Conrecode for all of her love, help and support.
In lieu of a formal service, at Dino’s request a celebration of life will be held at LaLa’s in the Lakes at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 17th.
To the best husband and father we could have ever asked for:
“Thank you so much for making us your everything. WUBBIS!!”
Ciao.
