Dean W. Schroder

Dean W. Schroder, 67, Maitland, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

He was born September 15, 1958 to Dwight and Kathleen (Ayers) Schroder in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Dean's love for motorcycles and big trucks wasn't just a pastime; it was a defining part of who he was. A tinkerer at heart, Dean could often be found in his garage, working on his latest mechanical project.

He enjoyed watching western shows, WWE, and big rig drag racing. But mostly, he loved his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight.

Survivors include his mother, Kathleen; children, Michael Schroder, Samantha Randle (Josh), Joshua Schroder, Charles Schroder (Kristen Joslin), Alex Schroder, and Tana Lidgett (Bryan); 9 grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, David and Dennis Schroder, and Theresa Bahr; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
