Eula Dean Rowlett, 99, of Maitland, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Nodaway Nursing Home, Maryville.
Eula was born in New Hampton, Missouri, on August 5, 1926, to W.L. (Leo) and Lela Ethel (Edwards) Wiley, she was a lifelong resident of the Maitland area.
She graduated from business school in Chillicothe, Missouri, and was a homemaker all her life. She married John Rowlett, Jr, and he preceded her in death in February, 2002. She was also preceded by her parents, her son, Jerry Rowlett, and her brother-in-law, Richard Mowry.
She was a Christian, and had attended the Community of Christ Church, and she had played the organ there for many years. She loved to read and was a great cook. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family and always made the holiday's special.
She leaves behind her son Larry (Jill) Rowlett, Maitland, her daughter-in-law, LuAnn Rowlett, Maryville, Missouri, her sister, Dixie June Mowry, 4 grandsons, 2 great grandsons, 3 great -great grandson, 2 nieces, and many friends.
The family will receive friends at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Tuesday.
Funeral services for Eula will be at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri. The burial will follow in the Maitland Cemetery, Maitland, Missouri .
