Dean Solie Obituary
Dean's long life included a 4-year stint in the US Navy, additionally working as a barber, bar/restaurant owner and road construction supervisor. His hobbies included being a Cessna pilot and Radio-controlled aircraft operator.
He leaves behind his wife Mary, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage, his son (Jeff Solie), daughters (Sherry Strammer and Shelly Haskett), eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, Dean will be cremated and inurned with Military Honors at Sarasota National Cemetery.
