Deane Holt Moore

Deane H. Moore, affectionately known as "Nannie," 76, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William N. "Billy" Moore, Sr.; her parents, Fannie Rose Holt and John Andrew Holt, Jr.; her brother, John Andrew Holt III; her sister, Tammy Loraine Holt; and her stepson, William N. "Bill" Moore, Jr.
Nannie was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who deeply cherished her family. She loved to travel and to celebrate special occasions surrounded by those she loved. Known for her impeccable sense of style, Nannie had an outfit for every day of the year and took great joy in fashion and self-expression.
She is survived by her children, Earl Edwards Jr. (Laura), Andy Edwards, and Christopher "Jason" Moore (Morgan); her grandchildren, Dylan Edwards (Liv), Holt A. Edwards, Cohen Edwards, Harrison Moore, Blair Moore, Gracie Price (Wyatt), and Kenly Owney; and her nieces, Heather Holt, Shannon Coble, Ruthie Koerber, and their families.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
