Deanie Hartman, beloved wife, mother, Nana, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025 at the age of 93. She was born in Stockdale, Texas on August 22, 1932.
From an early age, Deanie had a gift for nurturing. She was a compassionate friend to everyone, especially those in need or in crisis. She had many careers during her lifetime including legal secretary, hospital volunteer coordinator, antique store owner and real estate broker. Much of her life was spent volunteering and helping others.
She met the love of her life, Charlie, in 1949 when she was 16 years old. They were married a couple of years later on January 19, 1951. They were together for over 68 years.
Deanie was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Willie Riley, sister Marie, and her loving husband Charlie. She is survived by her son Randy and wife Kim; her son Rusty and wife Jeannie; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Charlene and husband Tope, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deanie's warmth, strength and nurturing spirit touched everyone that knew her. She will be deeply missed, but forever remembered in the hearts of those she loved.
