Deanna Kay Cahill

Deanna Kay Cahill of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born on Thursday, October 18, 1951 in Ralls, Texas to Sam and Dean Cahill.
Deanna was a longtime resident of Bokchito, Oklahoma. She worked as a presser in Durant, Bokchito, and Boswell, Oklahoma for many years. She also spent many years as a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed watching movies and television shows. She loved to cook, listen to old gospel music and Elvis Presley. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a giving woman and was always willing to help anyone in need. Deanna was loved by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Dean Cahill; brother Stephen Cahill; and grandson Chris Sellers.
Survivors include her daughters Kay Sellers and husband Bobby of Durant, Oklahoma, Renea Shults and husband Ronnie of Bokchito, Oklahoma; grandchildren Bobby Sellers, Jr. of Durant, Oklahoma, Eric Sellers and wife Jerrica of Durant, Oklahoma, Tiffany Sellers of Durant, Oklahoma, Daniel Shults and wife Tanna of Bennington, Oklahoma, Aaron Shults and Emileigh of Boswell, Oklahoma; great grandchildren Kaylie Sellers of Durant, Oklahoma, Maddie Sellers of Durant, Oklahoma, Mason Sellers of Durant, Oklahoma, JayLee Sellers of Durant, Oklahoma, Stormie Sellers of Durant, Oklahoma, Landon Sellers of Durant, Oklahoma, Lanston Sellers of Durant, Oklahoma, Lakason Sellers of Durant, Oklahoma, Paisley Shults of Bennington, Oklahoma, Remington Shults of Bennington, Oklahoma, Rowdy Shults of Bennington, Oklahoma, Ryder Shults of Bennington, Oklahoma, Jaxon Shults of Bennington, Oklahoma, Lucas Shults of Bennington, Oklahoma, Rickey Rocha of Bennington, Oklahoma; brothers Dwayne Cahill and wife Patty of Boswell, Oklahoma, Paul Cahill and wife Peggy of Boswell, Oklahoma; sisters Kathy Ledbetter and husband James of Idabel, Oklahoma, Diane Walker and husband Joe of Paris, Texas as well as other extended family and friends.
A family visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the Gordon Center, 305 N 2nd Ave. Durant, Oklahoma.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 25, 2025 at the Gordon Center, 305 N 2nd Ave. Durant, Oklahoma with Pastor David Cahill officiating. A graveside will follow at Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma.
Eric Sellers, Daniel Shults, Aaron Shults, Bobby Sellers, Jr., Mason Sellers, Sammy Cahill, and Paul Cahill will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the great grandsons.
