Debarah Slider Obituary
Born January 29, 1949 in Cumberland, MD, Ms. Slider was the daughter of the late Elwood Mitchell Rowley and Emma Mary (Testa) Rowley. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Billy Slider; her siblings: Bob, Mark, and Raymond Rowley; and Darlene Lee.
Debbie was a graduate of Fort Hill High School Class of 1967 and also Catherman's Business school. She retired in 2018 as the Executive Director of the Kensington and also retired from Age Mark Assisted Living with 30 years of service. She was a member of Davis Memorial United Methodist Church.
Debbie is survived by her daughter: Nicole King and husband Ted; her son: Robert Dettinburn and wife Erin; her grandchildren: Emma Stratton and wife Holli; Sarah Stratton, Rowan Sweitzer, Canyon Dettinburn, and Torin Dettinburn; and a great-granddaughter: Kouver Blank; She is also survived by her sisters: Lillian Jacobs and husband Tom; Linda Snoots, and Patricia Rowley; and her best friends: Linda Lewis and Kathy Shewbridge; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD (www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com) on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. with Jonathan Snoots officiating.
Interment will be in Davis Memorial Cemetery.

Nicole this is Laura here and I could cry right along with you my very dear friend about your mom another very dear friend of mine we had great conversations with each other also and always remember with a smile like the times wed have chit chats in your office oh what a great time we had I m sorry about your mom and here are hugs and prayers and love to you and your family to be able to move forward with your lives love you lots though
