Debbie Travis Anders of Dayton, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born on February 9, 1961, the daughter of the late Dean and Willa Dean (Rice) Travis. She is also preceded in death by her two brothers, Jim Travis and Leon Travis.
Dancing and gardening brought Debbie the greatest joy.
She leaves behind her two daughters, Lisa (Bryan) Cox, and Tresa (James) Ballard; her five grandchildren, Hunter Minton, Havan Minton, Trevor Sligh, Mason (Kathryn) Evitt, and Shine Cox, all of Rhea County; her four great-grandchildren, Connor Sligh, Kayleigh Morgan, Lincoln Sligh-Duncan, and Riley Minton; her sister, Darlene (Brent) Wright of Decatur; and her brother Steve Travis.
A Gathering Time for Debbie will be held in the funeral home parlor on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest next to her father in Faith Garden at Buttram Cemetery in Dayton.
