Debbie Braund Obituary
Debbie was born on February 20, 1958, the beloved daughter of James A. and Virginia (Nolder) Braund.
Plagued with health issues from birth, Debbie never had a "why me" attitude. She persevered through many trials and tribulations throughout her life. She had accepted Christ as her savior and lived a Christian Life. She was a long-standing member of the Bethany Covenant Church in DuBois.
Debbie was a graduate of DuBois High School and retired from Owens Illinois.
She loved sports, especially baseball, and watching her favorite team, the Pittsburgh Pirates. She loved traveling, her trip to London and Paris her favorite destinations.
Although never married, Debbie lived a full life in her childhood home until 2019. She was the main loving caregiver to her parents in their senior years.
Along with her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Jean Connor and Sandra Miller, and brother-in-law Thomas Smith.
Debbie is survived by a brother, James (Susan) Braund of St. Augustine, FL; and her sister, Bonnie Smith of DuBois, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Debbie's wishes, there will be no viewing or service.
Interment will take place at the Salem Cemetery.
The Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made in Debbie's name to Bethany Covenant Church, 26 E. Long Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801.

I´m sorry to hear about Debbie´s passing. Our friendship goes back for many years. Debbie frequented my business on a daily basis during each season. Her love for Dairy Queen Ice Cream provided her much pleasure! It was my pleasure to serve her and to have her as my friend!
