Marilyn B Braund

Marilyn Braund, 86, of Marstons Mills, MA (previously of Falmouth, MA) passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, at her home after a brief illness. Marilyn made an unforgettable impact on the lives of many children throughout her life in private and public. She was an active foster and adoptive parent where she enhanced the lives of everyone around her. Marilyn was the founder of the New School of Ballet in Yarmouth, MA, where she instilled her love of dance and theater to the community. In her later years she continued her love of working with children at the Riverview School in Sandwich.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dr William Braund and her children: Jane (Greg) Goss, Deborah (William) Rapp, Robert Berzofsky (deceased), Peter Berzofsky, Victoria Braund Picard, Tanya (Cleve) Marcy, Naomi Braund, Alicia Braund, Anjanette Taylor Braund Brown, Tammy (Tim) Corey, Jessica Braund, Diane Braund, & Jenaya Braund. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and I great-grandchild.
