Barbara Lee Bishop (Fishlock) age 80 of Marstons Mills passed away at home on October 18, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was the beloved wife of George H. Bishop of Marstons Mills to whom she was married for 57 years.

Barbara was born in Providence, RI on June 17, 1945 to the late Arthur and Avis (Turner) Fishlock. She grew up in Warwick, RI and graduated from Pilgrim High School in 1963. She lived most of her life in Marstons Mills where she and George raised their children and enjoyed lots of family time at the beach or riding the bike trails of Cape Cod. In her later years her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren, sharing laughs over a meal on the back porch or taking a ride to get ice cream. Barbara also had many cherished friends throughout her life with whom she enjoyed hours of conversation over lunch or a cup of tea.

In addition to her husband, Barbara was the loving mother of Brenda Sacco and her husband Steven of Mansfield, MA and Brad Bishop and his wife Charlene of Ashland, MA. She was the cherished grandmother of Aidan, Sarah and Drew Sacco and Siena and Grady Bishop. She also leaves her sister Donna St. Jean of West Warwick, RI and her brother Frederick Fishlock and his wife Nicky of Miami, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private graveside service at Mosswood Cemetery in Cotuit. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Oral Cancer Foundation at donate.oralcancerfoundation.org
