Beloved wife of the late Ed Ruffing.
Loving mother of Ed (Jaime) Ruffing of North Versailles and Jessie (Michael "Ope") Ruffing.
Cherished grandmother of Jackie Ruffing.
Dear sister of Laurie (Dan) Costello, Terri Flynn and Jim Flynn.
Also survived by numerous family and friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents James Flynn and Laura (Gray) Flynn.
Debbie loved animals, gardening, baking, crafting, camping, boating at Pymatuning, but most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends. Debbie was known for her wit, her hopefulness, and her generosity. She will be dearly missed.
Friends welcome Saturday 2-7 PM in the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory Inc; 700 Linden Ave. at Cable; East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800, where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 7 PM.

I've known Debbie since we were about 11 years old. I have wonderful memories of us hanging out at Maple Grove, (those were the best summers) and all the great times we spent together as adults. Debbie has always been such a good friend, and could always make me smile.
I feel blessed Debbie was part of my life.
