Debora Jean "Debbie" Williamson, a cherished mother, Nena, sister, and friend passed away on March 19, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on September 9, 1964, in Covington, Kentucky, Debbie’s life was marked by a commitment to family, faith, and an active lifestyle that brought joy to those around her.

A proud graduate of Gallatin County High School in 1982, Debbie distinguished herself as a star athlete in basketball and softball. Debbie’s vibrant spirit extended well beyond her career. She was a passionate lover of sports, especially UK Basketball, and enjoyed kayaking and walking. Her enthusiasm for health and wellness was evident in her fondness for Doterra oils. Sunny days spent in Florida were among her favorite pastimes, as was the delight she found in playing with her beloved grandchildren. Her heart was especially full with love for her nieces and nephews, reflecting her deep commitment to family.

A faithful member of Paintlick Baptist Church in Warsaw, Kentucky, Debbie lived her life grounded in faith and community spirit. She took immense pride in her family, considering her children and grandchildren her greatest accomplishments and sources of joy.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, McKenna Smith (Quincey) of Carrollton, Kentucky; her son, Christopher Williamson (Katie) of Dayton, Ohio; and her treasured grandchildren, Sawyer Jack Smith, Evelyn Hume Smith, and Anabelle Jean Smith. She also leaves behind three loving sisters: Sheila Peace of Warsaw, Kentucky; Paula (Gary) Lillard of Sparta, Kentucky; and Linda (John) Davis of Carrollton, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack C. Peace; her mother, Sallie Hume Peace; and her grandchild, Vivian Meadows.

The family will gather to honor and celebrate Debbie’s life with a Celebration of Life service held on March 28, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Carrollton Christian Church, located at 310 5th Street, Carrollton, Kentucky.
